Publish your photos online
What is photocasting? It's about delivering your photo albums in a stream online. Think podcasting or news RSS feeds but with photos. Now photocasting is an iPhoto feature generally only available to .Mac account subscribers, but Photocasting Freedom manages to make this available to anyone.
The interface is reminiscent of iPhoto, with albums appearing in a list on the left side, and photos shown in a preview in the main part of the interface. Setting up an FTP or SFTP connection is fairly easy although it can take a bit of time. You'll have to make sure you have a server in mind and add it to the list in Photocasting Freedom to be able to upload your albums. Once your albums are up you can share them with anyone you want.
For people into photocasting, this application is a great way of publishing their albums online without having a .Mac account.
